i have not blogged for very long and i don't think i will for awhile.
my new uni life has hit me in the face and made me realise that last min work does not count like in my first year of uni.
i was on the phone with li and he mentioned that i have not blogged for ages.
then he threatened to break up with me if i didn't blog about him right now :p
so what choice do i have eh.
i pretty much have a gun to my back while i type this, haha.
joking :)
ive realised i never blogged about li in full just bits here and there.
we've pretty much kept our relationship under wraps since day one, guess we wern't the type to shout about each other.
which i regret not doing cos i've pretty much had the biggest crush on him since yr nine or ten, sadly.
i think 2 or 3 months into the relationship, i told li the first time i saw him.
it was an embarrassing thing to talk about.
the jist of it was that i was in detention , he was at his locker and i looked up from my homework and was like O_O
OMG. WHO. IS. THAT. STUD. ANU. OT.GON.TUGS ?
ok no, it wasn't that drama, anu was not there and li wasn't exactly a stud.
but he did catch my eye and when he looked up from his locker, i did sheepishly stare down at my work.
sigh
now my boyfriend li sits by my side with his little grin and backs me with whatever i do.
he bags me about loving the jonas bothers but tolerates my bone breaking clenches during the movies high school musical and twilight.
hes ~usually~ there to get me when i'm stranded at night
and ~ USUALLY~ there to tuck me in at night
li isn't nice smelling and lovely all the time,
we have had our super down times.
he has left me in tears and ive made him a mess at times
but which couple does not experience hard times ?
overall my baby cakes makes me smile :]
even though he gets angry when i call him that in public
i think honeycakes is more acceptable.
anyway how much does he look like my cousin, cameron?
its like a carbon copy of him when he was young.
both are such darls.

but we are going some crazy flight of the gibbon thing today and white water rafting tmr !
then after we'll be in phuket and phi phi islands :D

I enjoyed the last few hours of 2008 again with the same people as i did last year in singapore ( plus melina & others ).
HAHA, this photo wasn't taken on nye but it still makes me laugh.
If you knew why charles isn't wearing glasses in that photo...man.
I would post but don't think charles and the fag would appreciate it.
Well i'm finally back home in Singapore :)
I've been spending most of my days on my parent's room couch,
Chelsea at my feet.
It feels so good to be back home,
I missed the feeling of eating whatever you want from the fridge without asking and not always being on my tiptoes around other people.
I also miss the sound of 2 sets of paws chasing each other around the house,
It has been sadly reduced to a slow patter of old chelsea.
She still mopes around the house,
I'm sure it hurts to loose her oldest & dearest friend.
I now give her extra cuddles and bite her less.
The days here are not as sweltering as I remember,
It is now possible to enjoy a balmy breeze that sweeps through your hair at midday.
Apart from the weather, Singapore stands the same.
Off to thailand this monday :D

I went to possibly the best concert of my life.
We were right in front of the stage !
I could practically feel arson's spit on me !
IT WAS SO AWESOME.
THAT WAS HOW CLOSE !
Arson kept posing for us, he was my second favourite band member after pelle.

and the best thing was that he didn't even mind !
I was jostled, pushed, bashed in the head so many times
I was even close to passing out towards the end.
In the end i was drenched with sweat
BUT IT WAS SO AWESOME.
Definitely a must see show for any live music lover.

This morning i woke up to the vexatious sound of a mosquito and the muggy heat that simply overwhelmed me.
That was when i realised,
summer is finally here.
And it sure took it's bloody time this year!
Well the realisation also dawned when i got out of bed with no pants on.
I have had many good memories associated with my least favourite season.
The late balmy nights, sucking on icypoles that are supposedly the healthy alternative to ice cream ( when actually they are like 100 percent sugar )and my absolute favourite, the exaggerated procrastination that can be blamed on the heat.
Isn't it true?
Anything not worthy of your time can be blamed on the heat.
Also, sitting on the couch till you are practically glued to the leather is acceptable cos you are "too hot to move".
Well the lemonade that dribbled down your neck could've contribute to your stickiness but hey,
you are " too hot to clean it up" so let the ants come forth!
The weird thing is that my uncanny resemblence to a sloth in this weather is shared by many others .
Come hell or high water, we will be there on mats sunning ourselves.
I distinctively remember lying in my front lawn with my sister,
bacon & egg sandwich and suntan lotion in hand.
Also the holidays at asian destinations ( + mum nagging to put on a thick layer of sunscreen ).
I leave for mine in 6 days!
Despite the issues in thailand, I'm excited !
However, that means this leaves 6 days to cram in as much time with li and friends :(
Oh, I haven't blogged properly about li yet.
But i don't think that i will cos it's just cheesey :p
I can say that i'm starting to really like this boy and i'll be missing him when i go back to asia.
We took an essential summer trip to the park with his dog yesterday.
To watch a scorching day turn to a balmy night should be on everyone's summer to-do list.
Breathe in the distinctive smells of parched flora and watch the red sunset.
Call out " FAIL! " to the practising cricketers on the field and make out in front of annoying screaming kids.
Kick back and relax to the sights and sounds of summer, it only comes once a year.
I'm going to the hives concert tmr with ray and i am SO EXCITED.
I wonder if i can wait out the back jamie cullum style
so that i can wail " ILOVEYOUPELLEYOUHOTSTUFFILOVEYOU!"

The christmas cheer has come and gone
leaving me so tired and fat :/
I spent christmas day with Li and christmas night with shauna and the ongs.
Despite not having my parents around for christmas (sadface), it was one of the best christmases i've had.
As usual, preperation of xmas food started the night before.
